kowalski Henryk Kowalski, violin (Sweden/USA/Poland) is a Professor of violin, Indiana University School of Music in USA and Adjunkterad Professor, Kungliga Musikhögskolan in Stockholm, Sweden.
stockholmcompetition Bernt Lysell, violin (Sweden) has been a violinist in the Royal court orchestra, the Bayerische Staatstheater in Munich, the concertmaster of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra since 1977 and concertmaster of the Royal Philharmonic since 1994. He is since 2010 an employee of Music in Upland.

Besides his concerts in Sweden and abroad, he is also head of the cello department at the Academy of Music in Stockholm, as well as being the director of the school string orchestra.

British cellist Marie Macleod has performed throughout Europe, USA and Australia as soloist and chamber musician, appearing with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra. In 2013 Marie was appointed principal cellist of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
